The first cases of R/C helicopters heating have now occured, as forecasted on my french blog on December 9th.
Many cheap copies of the famous Picoo-z have no over-heating limitation systems therefore the heat goes up in case of malfunction over the water boiling temperature !
According to a french market survey from NPD Consommateurs for the FJP France Jouets Puriculture Association, the "vehicles" segment of the toy market is growing very quickly: +15,9% (compared to 2006) during the first 3 months of 2007, and that is in great part thanks to these small helicopters.
